1, indoor installation: LED strip

Take the LED strip produced by Gaoxianse Photoelectric as an example, each LED strip has a self-adhesive 3M double-sided adhesive on the back of the strip, you can directly tear off the 3M double-sided adhesive surface sticker when installing, and then fix the strip in the place where it needs to be installed, and press the flat by hand. As for the installation of light strips in some places that require corners or what if they are long? Very simple, the LED strip is a group of 3 LEDs as a series-parallel way of circuit structure, each 3 LEDs that can be cut off for individual use.
2, outdoor installation: outdoor installation due to the wind and rain, if the use of 3M adhesive fixed words, time will cause 3M adhesive to reduce the adhesion of the LED strip off, so the outdoor installation is often used to fix the way slot. Need to cut and connect the place, the same method and indoor installation, but need to be equipped with additional waterproof glue, to consolidate the waterproof effect of the connection point.
3, power supply connection method: LED strip general voltage for DC 12V, so you need to use a switching power supply, the size of the power supply according to the power of the LED strip and the length of the connection to determine. If you do not want to use a power supply to control each LED strip, you can buy a relatively large power switching power supply to do the total power supply, and then all the LED strip input power supply are connected in parallel (wire size is not enough to extend), unified by the total switching power supply. The advantage of this is that it can be centrally controlled, the inconvenience is that it cannot achieve the lighting effect and switch control of individual LED strip, which can be measured by yourself.
4、Controller connection: LED running strip and RGB full color strip need to use the controller to achieve the changing effect, and the control distance of each controller is different, in general, the control distance of simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, the control distance of remote controller is 15 to 20 meters, and the longest distance can be controlled to 30 meters. If the LED strip is connected to a longer distance and the controller cannot control that long of a strip, then it is necessary to use a power amplifier to tap it.
5, pay attention to the LED strip connection distance: in general, the 3528 series of LED strip, the maximum connection distance is 20 meters, 5050 series of LED strip, the maximum connection distance is 15 meters. If this connection distance is exceeded, the LED strip will easily heat up and the service life of the LED strip will be affected during use. Therefore, the installation must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements, and the LED strip must not be overloaded.
